Security of our clients' funds is Interdax's number one priority.
Various techniques are used to ensure the security of cryptocurrencies under Interdax’s management, the security of the web application itself and the security of our user’s accounts.
For the security of cryptocurrencies, Interdax uses multi-signature wallets to manage client balances and withdrawals. The master keys are generated by a ceremony in a safe and secure way. For any transfer on the exchange, 3-of-5 multi-signature is required which means that three members of Interdax’s leadership team must all sign-off on a transaction. The private keys associated with the master keys are stored offline and used to process withdrawals while the public keys are stored privately online. These public keys are used to create addresses for Interdax users.
In terms of web security, HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) is used to make sure that the website can only be accessed through HTTPS. The platform is also protected from various attacks such as clickjacking, POODLE and Heartbleed.
Interdax also wants to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our traders. Only strong passwords are accepted when new users sign up. We also provide email confirmation for actions on the exchange, two-factor authentication for logging into the platform and PGP encryption for all correspondence with Interdax.
Check the security checklist on the Security settings page to ensure your account has the maximum protection.
